Iowa Colony police are searching for a 17-year-old boy in connection with a Thursday afternoon attack on another teenager who was robbed while walking home after getting off a school bus.
The victim, 17, told officers responding at 3:34 p.m. that a vehicle approached him and stopped and that someone exited the passenger side and"pistol whipped" him with a semi-automatic pistol before fleeing, according to a news release from the police department. A home surveillance video that captured the attack has been circulating on social media. The victim is an Alvin ISD student who had gotten off a school bus and was walking in the Sterling Lakes subdivision when attacked,Police said investigators are seeking the other teenager on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
