LUCENA CITY — Police arrested a suspected gun-runner in a buy-bust operation in Dolores town in Quezon province on Friday, Jan. 13, a report said Saturday, Jan. 14.
The Quezon police said Edwin Jose, 51, was collared after he allegedly sold a caliber .38 revolver with six bullets for P4,000 to a poseur buyer in a sting operation in Sta. Lucia village at 11 p.m.The firearm lacked government-issued documents and the corresponding license and permit for the holder.
The suspect was detained and will be charged with violating Republic Act 10591 of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
