The Ateneo De Manila University (AdMU) will go on a “University Holiday” on Jan. 23 to celebrate the many achievements of the university and its students.

The Ateneo De Manila University will go on a “University Holiday” on Jan. 23 to celebrate the many achievements of the university and its students.

“I am declaring Monday, 23 January 2023 as a University Holiday,” said President Roberto C. Yap SJ in a memorandum addressed to the University Community issued Thursday, Jan. 12. “Let us rejoice and thank God for these many achievements and may it inspire us to use our talents as a force for good in the world,” Yap said.Ateneo was cited as the top Philippine University in THE World University Rankings and the top Philippine University in THE Impact Rankings.

The one-day break also recognizes the feat of the Ateneo Debate Society Team A Champions in the World Universities Debating Championship.Classes in Basic Education, Loyola Schools, Professional Schools, and offices will resume operations on Jan. 24, the memo read.
