"Ang report na dumating sa amin, nahuli na raw ng Indonesian police kaninang madaling araw...Immediately nakikipag-coordinate na tayo para mai-turn over sa atin si Mayor Alice," sabi ni Santiago. Sa isa pang panayam sa Super Radyo dzBB, sinabi ni Santiago na nilalayon nila ang pagbabalik ni Guo sa Pilipinas sa lalong madaling panahon.
Sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. na ang pag-aresto kay Guo ay nagsisilbing babala sa mga nagtatangkang iwasan ang hustisya sa bansa. "But we will not allow this to prolong the resolution of the case, whose outcome will be a victory for the Filipino people," sabi niya.
