LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf issued a nationwide protest call on March 2 against electoral rigging in the 2024 general elections, asserting that other political parties will also join them.

Ayub emphasized that the people had entrusted their mandate to the former PTI chairman, and the nation’s mandate along with their seats had been compromised. Furthermore, Ayub disclosed PTI’s nominations for the posts of National Assembly speaker and deputy speaker, naming Amir Dogar and Junaid Khan respectively.

Marwat clarified that discussions with the former prime minister focused on internal party affairs. He confirmed PTI’s elected members’ intent to take the oath on February 29.
