The Pakistan Bar Council along with other Bar Associations, strongly condemned, criticized, and rejected the demands for the resignation of the Chief Justice, and has welcomed and supported the decision to form the inquiry commission under the leadership of former Chief Justice Of Pakistan Tassaduq Jillani.
The Peshawar High Court Bar Association has expressed satisfaction with the decision to establish the inquiry commission under the leadership of Tassaduq Jillani and deemed the demands for the resignation of the Chief Justice by a political party as incorrect, unconstitutional, and condemnable.
The High Court Bar Associations Of Abbottabad, Bahawalpur and Multan also supported the establishment of the inquiry commission under the leadership of Tassaduq Jillani and criticized the demand for the resignation of the Chief Justice and the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court as unconstitutional.
The Punjab Bar Council believes that pressure on the judiciary and interference in its affairs are unacceptable, urging all institutions to stay within their constitutional limits. The Punjab Bar Council has approved the appointment of Tassaduq Jillanias the head of the inquiry commission.
