According to the National Assembly Secretariat, Dr Farooq Sattar became the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Privatization and Amin ul Haq became the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Information Technology . The Secretariat said that Javed Hanif will be the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Commerce and Hafizuddin Awan Advocate will lead the Standing Committee on Industries and Production.
Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party managed to get the chairpersonship of five of them. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Balochistan Awami Party got the chairmanship of one committee each.ISLAMABAD: Syed Amin-ul-Haque was elected as the Chairman of the National Assembly...Earlier, Syed Amin-ul-Haque was elected as the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication on Saturday.
Member of the National Assembly Syed Mustafa Kamal proposed Amin-ul-Haque’s name, which was seconded by Ali Qasim Gillani and Gohar Khan.
