Free, fair, transparent elections caretaker govt’s top priority: Solangi
- Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has said the caretaker government is trying to keep the political environment pacified to ensure that general elections are held in a free, fair and transparent manner, Radio Pakistan has reported.
About the PTI chief's recent statements, Solangi said Pakistan was a democratic country where everyone had the right to express their views. He said that indiscriminate action was being taken against anti-sate activities, and maintained that no individual or group, either secular or religious or whatsoever their ideology might be, would be allowed to challenge the writ of the state.
