The bowl festivities kicked off Sunday evening with a press conference and parade through downtown Mobile.“We are thrilled to welcome back both Arkansas State and Bowling Green State Universities to the city of Mobile in what promises to be an action-packed matchup between these two opponents,” said 68 Ventures Bowl President Jerry Silverstein.“The bowl season is everything for us.
Immediately after the press conference wrapped up, the teams rolled through downtown Mobile in Mardi Gras fashion.“Well just everybody getting together and having a good time and we got a bowl game in this city,” Parade Goer Marc Hays said. “You gotta love it.”“I love the parade’s out here in Mobile because you get to see it’s like a melting pot,” Curtis said. “It’s very diverse. You get to see all the different cultures. You get to see all the different people.
