The parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party in the Punjab Assembly, Ali Haider Gillani has been elected as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee II, 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.The nomination for Ali Haider Gillani, son of Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani was proposed by MPA Malik Asad Ali Khokhar, and seconded by MPA Shazia Abid.
Expressing his gratitude, Ali Haider Gillani thanked the committee members for their trust and support. "I am deeply grateful to the committee members who have expressed their confidence in me," Gillani stated. He assured the committee that he would strive to manage its affairs with utmost integrity."I will make every effort to run the committee with honesty," he added.
