Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh President Nisar Ahmad Khuhro on Monday was elected as Sindh Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee chairman unopposed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Besides Khuhro, other members of the committee are PPP’s Muhammad Qasim Soomro, Saadia Javed, Syed Farrukh Ahmad Shah, Makhdoom Fakharuz Zaman, Khurram Karim Soomro, and Sunni Ittehad Council’s Muhammad Rehan Rajput. Speaking on the occasion, Khuhro said he was thankful to the PPP leadership for nominating him for the position.
The newly-elected PAC chairman said that the committee would also review the auditor generals’ reports on departments.
