7% of business executives say the top challenge to using AI is they don’t understand it, 20.5% say they don’t trust it, and 19.4% say the technology is too expensive . 58% of business executives say there is no individual or group resisting the adoption of AI, up from 21% in 2017 . The “Algorithms, Automation and AI” job family grew 66% in 2018, adding in the US over 127,000 openings, from 194,000 in Q4 2017 to 321,000 in Q4 2018 .Only 9% of business executives believe AI will replace sales reps in the next five years, but 58.5% think inside sales roles will be significantly impacted, closely followed by 58.4% who think sales operations will be the most impacted .
