Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with a double murder at a Compton street takeover in November. The initial incident occurred at around 1 a.m. on Nov. 14, 2021, when two men were shot at close range while sitting in their vehicle at a street takeover at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Bullis Road. "The video we have of the area is of very poor quality, and has not assisted investigators in any way. We had some things that we were following up on that have gotten us nowhere on this case," said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Austin at a press conference on Friday."We're now asking for the public's help. We know there two three hundred witnesses there -- none of them have come forward at this point.
