I’m in the comic book camp that thinks Batman is best when he isn’t killing. When his brutality remains kept on a bat-leash of sorts, allowing him to beat the crap out of bad guys without actually killing them .by arguing in favor of his own Snyderverse version of Batman, who left quite a few bad guys dead in the biggest Batman killing spree ever, like someI didn’t hate that—I’m all for different on-screen versions of the Caped Crusader—but I didn’t love how Snyder went about it.
After his break with sanity and killing the Joker, Superman sets about going full-on despot, very much inspiring future super-villains like Homelander fromIn any case, I could definitely get behind a Batman-goes-evil version that takes things too far and becomes the very thing he hates, setting up his own Gotham Injustice League and killing with impunity, cops and robbers and rivals.
