Young Tak is now in the Philippines, and he and his Filipino and international fans couldn’t be happier!

The South Korean trot singer, actor, and TV personality appeared on “Unang Hirit." Fans have eagerly waited for him since 5:30 a.m.“Magandang umaga po! Ako po si Young Tak,” he said. “Kinikilig po ako na nasa Pilipinas ako ngayon."

He also shared the story behind his 2020 song “Jjiniya,” and why it became such a huge hit thanks to the BTS ARMY. With the help of a translator, he said, “So nagkaroon po ng pagkakataon sa isang awarding ceremony kung saan ako po ay nakapag-perform kasama din po ng BTS.” “At saktong sakto sa araw na 'yun, birthday din pala ni Jin,” he said. “At dahil 'yung kanta ko po, 'yung chorus niya is ‘Jin Jin Jin,’ nagtataka po 'yung BTS fans, ‘bakit ba siya kanta nang kanta ng pangalan ni Jin?’ Kaya doon nagkaroon ng interest po sa kanta ko.”He was also able to teach Kapuso viewers how to do the dance steps before performing “Jjiniya” live.on February 6 and 7.
