Young performers and artists: Your shot at the stage could be right around the corner. The Chicago Park District is asking the city’s youth performers to try out for its 8th annual T.I.P. Fest, for singers, rappers, dancers and poets ages 14 to 24.

The Chicago Park District is asking the city’s youth performers to try out for its 8th annualPark District teen engagement manager Temeszja Drummond said the district wants to see all of Chicago’s teen artists show up and show out.“I think after the pandemic, just rebranding and rebuilding everything, and everybody now may have new talents that they didn’t have,” Drummond said.
“T.I.P. Fest is like a real Lollapalooza for teens,” Drummond said. “There are different activations there, things that they can interact and participate in while you are watching people perform on stage.”
