A 15-year Jacksonville Sheriff's Office veteran sent a teen boy pictures of himself in uniform and a video of him in a towel which then dropped away, the arrest affidavit said.
The investigation began when the Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a gym about a member sending a nude photo to a teen at the gym.
Instead the boy began to get"unusual requests to send pictures of himself" with his shirt off, Lendvay said. After a few months of Snapchatting, the teen received photos and videos with full-frontal nudity. The teen also received pictures of Carmona-Fonseca in uniform and a video of him in a towel which then dropped away, the arrest affidavit said. At one point, he wrote “you can call me your police daddy.
Investigators also pinned Carmona-Fonseca’s Snapchat locations to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office substation on numerous occasions, where he worked as a patrol officer, near his residence and near the gym, according to the court documents. He also told the teen everything stayed between them and that because it was Snapchat it would disappear.
