YooAhIn Tests Positive For Propofol
On February 24, the police officially announced that the National Forensic Service had recently sent the results of Yoo Ah In’s hair test to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s drug investigation unit. According to the report, a hair sample taken on February 5 tested positive for propofol.
As part of the investigation, Yoo Ah In underwent both a urine test and hair test on February 5, and his urine sample tested positive for marijuana, which is illegal for recreational use in South Korea. In light of the new evidence, the police intends to call Yoo Ah In back in for another round of questioning.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In’s agency UAA commented, “We are actively cooperating with the investigation,” adding, “We plan to explain all the issues that have been called into question.”
