Sweden's Polestar and Israel's StoreDot have teamed up to achieve a record 10-minute EV charging time on a Polestar 5 prototype EV.
Sweden’s Polestar and Israel’s StoreDot have teamed up to set a 10-minute electrical vehicle charging record.
The vehicle consistently maintained a charge rate of over 310kW, with a peak of over 370kW. Throughout the test, all cell parameters, including temperature, voltage, and charged capacity, were constantly monitored. He added that “this technology will reshape consumer expectations and accelerate mass EV adoption by making EV ownership a seamless experience for the mass market.”how StoreDot’s technology can be easily integrated into existing car models to enable extremely fast charging using available charging infrastructure rather than proprietary chargers.This demonstration was made possible owing to StoreDot’s proprietary silicon-based anode technology.
