An experienced video editor claims he lost out on a job because the company was intent on only hiring a woman for the position.

Jordan Laws applied in July to be a senior editor at PXP Studios, which has offices in Manhattan as well as throughout the country and does video, digital and print advertising work. The job ad was specifically for a “woman editor” — a request which violates discrimination laws, contends Laws in his Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
