The shooting deaths of a woman and man found inside their Oakland home are under investigation by police.
OAKLAND — A woman and a man were found shot to death early Monday inside their Adams Point home, authorities said.
Police are in the process of determining whether the deaths are a homicide and suicide or a double homicide, authorities said. The names of the two killed, a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, have not been released yet. Autopsies for the two are pending. The couple was found just after 12 a.m. Monday inside their home in the 300 block of Perkins Street near Grand Avenue.They were both found dead after relatives became concerned because they had not heard from them all day Sunday and went to the residence, police said. When they could not gain entry police were called and the couple was found after officers forced their way inside.
