The 20-year-old woman was shot in the neck in an incident that happened at West 95th Street and Maywood Avenue, police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said. Her identity was not released. Police initially received a call about a woman who was shot inside of a car. When officers arrived, they realized that she had died, Ciaccia said.The man, who was shot in the neck, was taken to MetroHealth.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 216-623-5464. Anonymous information can be given to CrimeStoppers of Cuyahoga County at 216-25-CRIME.
