Tereyl Devon Coleman, 29, was arrested after Raven Coleman was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest in the driveway of a residence in Detroit.
Police officers arrived at a residence in the 12250 block of Wayburn Avenue in Detroit at around 3.20 a.m. on Saturday morning in response to a domestic dispute.
The prosecutor's office said an alleged verbal argument between the couple escalated and Tereyl Coleman fired a handgun, fatally shooting the woman.
