Woman fatally struck by 15-year-old driving without permit in SW Houston, police say
According to HPD, a 15-year-old girl was driving with her mom while headed eastbound on United Drive near Sovereign Drive.
When she made a left turn northbound toward Sovereign Drive, police said the teen struck the woman who was walking on the street.Investigators said the 15-year-old did not have a permit or a license to drive, and her mother was supervising her. They added that the vehicle damage was not consistent with a rate of high speed.HPD Commanders and PIO are also en route to this scene.
