The Bexar County medical examiner confirmed the death of the woman who was shot while riding in a vehicle on I-10 over the weekend.
Rice’s cause of death has not been determined at this time.A 27-year-old woman was shot in the head while riding in a vehicle with five other people, including two children, on I-10, according to San Antonio police.A vehicle carrying two children and four adults was heading westbound on I-10 when a single shot was fired in their direction, SAPD said.Their vehicle then got off of I-10 on the Colorado Street exit, pulled over and called 911.
Police said the injured woman was taken by EMS to an area hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.Further details are limited and we’ll bring more updates to this story as they become available.
