Winter Storm Iggy is shutting down travel in parts of the Plains this morning – here's what to expect today:
Iggy is producing snow from parts of Colorado and Wyoming into the Central Plains right now.
Additional snowfall accumulations could be 6 inches or more from parts of Nebraska to northern Michigan. Some areas could see up to a foot of new snowfall. Parts of upstate New York and northern New England have the best chance at picking up at least 6 inches of snow. Some light slushy amounts are possible in a few areas from Massachusetts westward along the New York Thruway into northeast Ohio.
