Wicked director Jon M. Chu says he was inspired by Steven Spielberg's Hook when working on the sets for the upcoming movie.

Along with Erivo and Grande, Wicked stars Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero Tigelaar, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose Thropp, Bowen Yang as Pfannee, Bronwyn James as ShenShen, and Keala Settle as Miss Coddle. Wicked releases in United States theaters on November 27, 2024.
