Upload season 3 started with a big surprise as there are now two Nathan Browns: one in the real world and one in Lakeview, but they are different.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary The first two episodes of Upload season 3 saw Nathan continuing his mission with Nora now in his physical body thanks to a download, while in Lakeview, a new Nathan was created. Upload season 2 ended on a major cliffhanger as Nathan was successfully downloaded into his physical body , but after having an intimate moment with Nora, his nose started bleeding.
While Nathan, Nora, and the rest took the HyperLoop back to New York City, in Lakeview Nathan’s avatar disappeared as a result of the download. As the people in Horizen didn’t know that Nathan downloaded, temp-turned-angel Tinsley was ordered to use Nathan’s backup copy to upload him to a new avatar as she couldn’t find him anywhere. In Upload season 3 episode 1, the new Lakeview Nathan went live, but there was a big surprise for those around him.
Nathan was fascinated by this different Ingrid and fell for her all over again, with the real Ingrid surprised at how Nathan had changed. This is the version of Nathan that is now live in Lakeview, so he doesn’t remember Ingrid telling him she didn’t upload, that she made him a clone body, and that he reconciled with Nora.
