Anything for the team and the win. He’ll be fine. It’s just a little burn. It’ll be gone in a week or two.”It is fun to see Hurts be a competitor, even in a celebrity softball game, but it wouldn’t be shocking if he does get a call from GM Howie Roseman about it all.
Hurts pitched all seven innings of the game for DeVonta Smith’s team — comprised of several of their teammates such as Dallas Goedert, Nakobe Dean, Brandon Graham, Darius Slay and even Eagles legend, Terrell Owens — who went on to defeat Washington Commanders wideout Jahan Dotson’s team, 14-5. When it was all said and done, Hurts definitely found his way to the athletic trainers in the locker room to get his leg treated because the stinging of the burn finally started to kick in.
