Fantasy football isn’t real. It’s self-indulgent. It has nothing to do with actual teams and actual effort.
Fantasy football fails to value the hard work undertaken for the team. Looking back now many years, the college basketball teammates I admire most were ones who played little, but practiced hard and with a great attitude every day. These guys have also been immensely successful after their athletic careers ended because they learned how to work, always doing their best even when they were not the most talented.
Fantasy football is not real, and it’s self-indulgent. Fantasy football is closer to Dungeons and Dragons for the fantasy part than it is football. It’s about the people that score touchdowns and put up gaudy statistics. It would be like trying to run a business with only a sales team. You might have good numbers, but there would be no blocking and tackling and doing the actual work.
