Here are some questions Bungie answered about 'Destiny 2' after it was announced the company was purchased by Sony

Q. Will the Destiny 2 experience on non-PlayStation platforms be impacted by Bungie becoming part of PlayStation? Q. Will Destiny 2: The Witch Queen include any platform exclusives?

No. The Witch Queen will not contain any platform exclusives. Every player should have an amazing Destiny experience, no matter where you choose to play Players are taking that second question and running with the idea that because only Witch Queen is mentioned, surely year 5 seasons, and the next expansions, Lightfall and the Final ShapeI just don’t take it that way, nor do I think it even makes sense at this point for Bungie to implement PS exclusive stuff in the wake of this Sony deal.

It’s abundantly clear that Bungie did not like doing this kind of thing in Destiny. This was wholly a product of the Activision partnership, and one of the first things they did when they left was end this practice as soon as they could. Given that Sony has shown Bungie has a ton of autonomy in this deal , I very much doubt Sony can force Bungie to start giving them exotics and strikes again.
