N.J. native Kevin Burkhardt will replace Joe Buck as FOX Sports' No. 1 NFL announcer.
Versatile broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt hosts Major League Baseball studio coverage for FOX Sports and calls play-by-play for the network’s NFL and MLB coverage. He also serves as a studio host and play-by-play announcer for FOX Sports’ college basketball coverage. For the 2021 NFL season, Burkhardt teams with analyst and veteran NFL tight end Greg Olsen and longtime reporter Pam Oliver.
Prior to joining FOX Sports, Burkhardt was a mainstay on the radio waves. He called NFL games nationally for Compass Media before earning the national spot for the Dallas Cowboys from 2011-2012. While working for a local car dealership in 2003, Burkhardt decided to give his dream of earning a living as a sports broadcaster one last shot when he caught a break at WCBS-AM in New York City working part-time shifts on sports updates. Until then, Burkhardt worked in local radio, including calling minor league baseball for four years for an independent team.
