Case Western Reserve edged out Ohio State as the best university in Ohio, according to newly released rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
Other changes included part-time faculty with a terminal degree as part of the larger instructional faculty and reranking schools based on theU.S. News and World Report groups institutions into different categories, with the “National Universities” set apart through doctoral degree offerings and research activity. Universities that do not offer many postgraduate programs are sorted into the “regional universities” category.
* For undergraduate business programs, Ohio State University ranks sixth nationally for supply chain management, 12th for accounting and finance, and 17th for marketing. * For nursing programs, Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University tie fifth in the country.
