Daylight Savings Time starts in March 2023 when clocks will 'spring forward' 1 hour. Here's the timing, history and reasons behind Daylight Saving Time. (03/12/2023)
Clocks will “spring forward” one hour overnight on Sunday — 2 a.m. will become 3 a.m. as we lose an hour of sleep this weekend.
The sun will set at around 6 p.m. in New Jersey on Saturday, March 11. The following day, after the time shift and the end of standard time, sunset is at 7:01 p.m. The sun will, however, rise nearly an hour later — at 7:14 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, after coming up at 6:16 a.m. on Saturday, March 11.
