Family Matters by director Nuel Naval is a heart-wrenching drama about a pair of aging parents coming to grips with the state of their familial relationships in the twilight of their lives.Mamasapano, directed by Lawrence Fajardo, is an action-drama film set in the January 2015 clash between the so-called SAF 44 of the Philippine National Police, and Muslim rebels who have infested the area.
Labyu With an Accent is a romantic comedy co-directed by Coco Martin and Malu Sevilla, which focuses on an unlikely love blossoming between a brokenhearted businesswoman and a male escort who offered to become her “jowa” in front of her family.Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Partners in Crime tells about an ex-couple who were forced by circumstances to work together after they were implicated in a crime.
