Owl and Rabbit were with young Christopher Robin in Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, but why did they disappear, was their fate the same as Eeyore’s?

Owl and Rabbit only appear at the beginning of Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, but it is not clear what happened to them. Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey is the first horror/slasher movie using beloved Disney characters that have recently come into the public domain. Rhys Frake-Waterfield wrote, directed, and produced Blood and Honey with the intention of it releasing as a one-off indie film, but its success has smashed expectations and made over $2.5 million at the box office so far.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Blood and Honey features most of the Winnie-The-Pooh characters, with Pooh Bear and Piglet taking the lead. Eeyore is featured in the beginning with young Christopher Robin but it is later found out Eeyore was eaten by the others, and Tigger does not appear at all because the character is not yet in the public domain. Also, Owl and Rabbit are seen with young Christopher Robin, and they are shown to have starved and eaten Eeyore with Pooh and Piglet.

The complete absence of Owl and Rabbit suggests they escaped The Hundred Acre Wood to avoid the cruelties of Pooh and Piglet. Pooh and Piglet were traumatized, and it turned them violent, but their actions could have had the opposite effect on Owl and Rabbit to make them want to escape.

How Owl & Rabbit Can Return For Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey 2 Since their fates are unconfirmed, it is possible Owl and Rabbit could appear in the upcoming sequel, Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Plus, with Piglet’s death at the end of Blood and Honey, Pooh is completely on his own in the Hundred Acre Wood, so it would be the perfect time to bring Owl and Rabbit back.

On the other hand, Piglet’s gruesome death could make Owl and Rabbit finally join Pooh in his bloodthirsty activities. The events of Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey could be enough to prove to Owl and Rabbit that humans are bad, and they may want to help Pooh get revenge on Christopher for his involvement in Piglet’s death.
