The top six were responsible for 67% of the Stars’ goals to that point. But if the Stars wanted to make , the overtime losses have to discontinue. Dallas sits atop the Western Conference’s Central Division at 34-17-13. That’s the most overtime losses in the division and the only other team in double digits is the 21-32-10 Coyotes.The Stars needed depth and got it. How much difference will it make down the stretch?
“But our goal is only to win the Stanley Cup. First of all, a lot of things have to happen,” Stars GM Jim Nill said on“I’ve been in this game a long time and I’ve been with teams that, same way, a step to win but a lot of things got to go right. You’ve got to stay healthy, you’ve got to have great goaltending and you’ve got to get a little bit lucky. So we think we’re set up for that, now we’ve got to do it on the ice.
