A new Salt Lake County café is combining two things a lot of people love - dogs and coffee.It's dedicated to finding creative ways to support area rescues and help dogs get adopted.
Co-owner Rachelle Coburn said her ultimate goal is to have a rescue of her own, but this was a way for her to support rescues and build connections.PHOTOS: Mars Society research site brings Red Planet experience to Earthlings in Utah"I was trying to find something after being laid off that brought value to my life. I love coffee, and I love dogs and animals, so this made sense," she said.
"Everyone looks at puppies and younger dogs, and it's typically the older dogs that are in the rescues for a long time," Coburn said. Coburn said they do monthly adoption events where you can meet some of the dogs they showcase at the coffee shop.
