Good morning – here's what we're seeing in the tropics:

According to the NHC, this system is non-tropical, meaning it's unlikely to develop into a tropical depression as it is whisked quickly to the east-northeast. It is no significant threat to land. These two areas being watched for development are a reminder we are heading into the heart of the hurricane season. Much of the season's tropical storm and hurricane activity occurs between August and early October.
