Movie follows the rise and fall of the Von Erichs, a Texas-based wrestling clan that performed in Dallas, Fort worth.
Coming from studio, the movie follows the rise and fall of the family that took the wrestling world by storm in the early 1980s. “The Iron Claw” comes out in theaters on Dec. 22.
“The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports,” the film’s synposis reads.
For the next minute and half, viewers are treated to the highs and lows of the family as they fight to keep their wrestling status. Eagle-eyed viewers can even catch a glimpse at the now defunct Dallas wrestling arena — the Sportatorium — in the trailer.
