Romney acknowledged that his vote won’t make a difference to the result, but invoked history and didn’t mince words when it came to what he thought of Trump’s offenses:“A flagrant assault” on our elections— Sam Stein When the vote happens later on Wednesday, Romney will become the first senator who has ever voted to remove a president from his own party.
