Rev. John K. Amanchukwu Sr, a black reverend, made a plea to the black community to leave the Democrats during FaithandFreedom's Conference. 'America needs to wise up and open our eyes and see that we are being used as expendable to those on the left...'
Rev. John K. Amanchukwu Sr. gave the opening prayer to the second day of this year's conference, titled"Road to Majority," and later took the podium to point out the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which was met with applause at the conservative conference. Amanchukwu wrote a book titled"Eraced: Uncovering the Lies of Critical Race Theory and Abortion" and is a Turning Point USA contributor.
The conference also hosted 2024 Republican presidential candidates former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, former Vice President Mike Pence, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, among other conservative figures. Former President Donald Trump spoke at last year's conference.
