New Bellaire High School principal announced
After months of instability, the Houston ISD named a 20-year district veteran as the principal of Bellaire High School during a meet-and-greet on campus Friday night.
In 2012, he moved to a more administrative role as the associate principal for Sam Houston Math, Science, and Technology Center High School. He became Waltrip principal in 2018. “I’ve worked with , and all I can say is he is a fantastic guy,” Niggli said. “I know this community has gone through the a lot.”"I think Bellaire trusts Bellaire right now. And I don’t think Bellaire trusts other folks right now. And I know I'm new and I'm willing to earn that trust."
“With this new leadership in place, we look forward to connecting our families with important information and updates on the vision of continued academic excellence for Bellaire HS in the weeks and months to come,” Moll said in a statement.A notice was sent to school staff in May saying the district was looking into “allegations of failure to follow district policy” at Bellaire HIgh, but it did not go into specifics.
