Inday Sa Dagat Advocacy NGO Foundation, Inc. founder Jerson Pardillo drinks water from the faucet of the organization’s newly acquired air-to-water equipment during its blessing and inauguration held along Queens Avenue in Royal Valley, Bangkal, Davao City on Wednesday. Pardillo said the air-to-water equipment project, which will be deployed to disaster-hit areas, aims to help calamity affected communities by providing clean potable water. Lean Daval Jr.
Acquired by Jerson Pardillo, founder of ISDA, the P18 million worth AWG including the truck, is a technology in which this machine converts atmospheric air into potable water that may be used for emergency purposes, specially during disasters. The first in Davao City and Mindanao, AWG is composed of three chambers wherein every chamber can produce 2,000 liters a day. All in all, 6,000 liters of water can be produced by the machine a day.
Pardillo said AWG will not only serve the calamities-stricken areas in Davao City but will be deployed also in other areas hit by disasters and calamities.Meanwhile, ISDA also inaugurated the Pugad ng Agila Headquarters on the same day.
