Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte on Saturday, Dec. 24, in her Christmas message brought to centerstage ordinary Filipinos who contributed to the growth of the nation, especially during times of calamities and disruptions.
In her another Christmas message, the official reminded Filipinos “to find the essence of Christ’s birth in our lives through acts of compassion, generosity, and kindness to our fellow Filipinos.”
She enjoined Filipinos to inspire their fellowmen in the disadvantaged sectors of society “to believe in their capacity to overcome life’s adversities and restore their love and faith for their families, their communities, and the Philippine government.”
