THE Commission on Elections in Cebu City has confirmed that voter registration for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections will run from July 4 to July 23, 2022.
Marilou Paredes, acting election officer of Cebu City south district, said Friday, June 24, that they are now preparing the registration forms and conducted planning for satellite registrations for the BSKE that is scheduled on December 5, 2022. Based on Comelec's Resolution 10798, a Filipino citizen of at least 18 years of age on or before December 5, 2022, may register for the barangay elections.
They must also be a"resident of the Philippines for at least one year and in the place wherein he/she proposes to vote, for at least six months immediately preceding the December 5, 2022 barangay elections."
