Police officers are providing security at the Constitutional Court Building in Jakarta ahead of the reading of the verdict concerning the dispute over the results of the 2024 Presidential Election, on Monday .
Based on the vote tally conducted by the General Election Commission , the Prabowo-Gibran pair won the 2024 presidential election with 58.6 percent of the vote. Two other pairs then filed a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court , but the lawsuit was rejected by the MK.KOMPAS/HENDRA A SETYAWAN The Constitutional Court has held a hearing for the 2024 presidential election dispute from March 27 to April 5. The hearing began with a reading of the petition from the Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud pairs, and ended with listening to testimonies from four ministers of the Indonesia Maju Cabinet regarding social assistance.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD expressed respect for the MK's decision to reject all of their requests. Ganjar also congratulated the Prabowo-Gibran pair on their duty.
