Layer 2 projects like Arbitrum and Optimism are focused on becoming 100% decentralized, however, this remains unlikely with the presence of a backdoor on the ETH blockchain. Interestingly, the largest stablecoins in the ecosystem, USD Tether and USD Coin , are not 100% decentralized either. The teams behind these stablecoins can freeze assets to tackle exploits or major security incidents.
Removing the backdoor for Layer 2 projects could be risky, while the existence of it violates the principle of decentralization.Ethereum is a decentralized open-source blockchain with smart contracts functionality. Serving as the basal network for the Ether cryptocurrency, it is the second largest crypto and largest altcoin by market capitalization. The Ethereum network is tailored for scalability, programmability, security, and decentralization, attributes that make it popular among developers.

US 93: Moore Ranch Road to Milepost 190 Pavement Preservation ProjectOverview Currently not paving due to night weather and temperatures. The project will resume in spring/summer 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in late summer/early fall 2023. The Arizona Department of Transportation is beginning work to remove and replace the existing top layer of pavement along US 93 between Moore Ranch Road and milepost 190 (mileposts 184-190) north of Wickenburg. The purpose of the project is to improve the condition of the pavement and extend its service life.
