At 3 a.m. Thursday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 130 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur and embedded along the ITCZ that will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao, according to PAGASA.
Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA / ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
The weather bureau is also monitoring the tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is 2,435 kilometers east of Mindanao with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, gustiness of up to 70 kph and moving in the west northwest direction at 10kph. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
