MANILA, Philippines — A 13-year-old male student died after he was stabbed by a classmate inside Culiat High School in Quezon City on Friday morning.
In a report, the National Capital Regional Police Office said the Grade 7 student, a native of Jolo, Sulu, was pronounced dead at 6:20 a.m. at the New Era General Hospital for sustaining stab wounds. The incident happened at 5:45 a.m. in the school’s hallway.“Initial investigation disclosed that both minor victim and suspect were classmates and had a misunderstanding due to jealousy,” the NCRPO said.
Police also said the victim was a neighbor of the 15-year-old suspect as both were residents of the same compound in Barangay Culiat, Quezon City.
